Ethics & Sustainability
Our Commitment to Ethical Sourcing
At Down Direct, we prioritize animal welfare, supply chain transparency, and corporate responsibility in everything we do. Our dedication to these values is so strong that we've partnered with the International Down & Feather Laboratory (IDFL) to independently certify our practices.
Why it Matters:
- Animal Welfare: We uphold the Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare, ensuring NO live plucking and NO force feeding. Our down and feathers are exclusively sourced as byproducts from the food industry.
- Traceability: Every step of our supply chain is thoroughly audited by IDFL, providing you with the assurance that our products meet the highest ethical standards.
- Global Certification: IDFL, a leader in filled textile quality and assurance since 1978, has certified our supply chain, verifying our commitment to ethical sourcing.
When you choose Down Direct, you're choosing products that are not only luxurious but also responsibly sourced.
